Awaz-e-kinnaur

Awaz-e-Yuva a one-day Youth conference was organised on 26th August 2022 at Ambedkar Bhawan in Reckong Peo. The day marked the one-year completion of the public gathering and rally organised at Reckong Peo to show people’s discontent against hydropower projects and other issues such as Tribal Land alienation and implementation of rights under FRA,2002 and PESA,1996. 

Awaz-e-Yuva was attended by Youth Club members, students and others across Kinnaur and some of the pressing issues around Hydropower Projects were discussed.
