Letter to PM

On 8th Feb 2022, The youth clubs of the 6 affected Panchayats separately sent a letter each to the Prime Minister of India reflecting the dire state of Kinnaur. A sensitive landscape altered rapidly by detrimental climatic events and destructive development projects was highlighted along with the demands of the locals. The letter was promoted and undersigned by 30 different organisations across India.   





Aggrieved by the catastrophic disaster that had recently hit Kinnaur and other Himalayan regions, the campaigners underscored the vulnerabilities of the region. An online petition was also circulated to support the campaign.
